The name pineapple comes from the Indian word anana, which means excellent fruit, and belongs to the bromeliad family (lat. Bromeliacea). It is a natural source of the enzyme bromelain, is rich in vitamin C, and thus provides an ideal supplement to any of your meals. Juicy pineapple nectar is made from the juiciest parts of pineapples that come from Costa Rica, a country known for the highest quality pineapples in the world.
