It is made from the Plavac Mali grape, the most important Dalmatian red grape variety. The typical aromas of the Plavac variety (plum, sour cherry and dark berries, natural herbs – immortelle and Mediterranean herbs) are rounded off by a short aging in used oak barrels, which gives the wine discreet notes of wood, coffee and spices.
